I'm not afraid to admit that one of my favorite things about this time of year are the gift guides. All of my favorite small businesses really pull out all of the stops to create a truly magical experience for their customers.
I'm a "material girl in the mystical world" as the babes over at Numinous would say, and that's the way I like it.
So look forward to more gift guides over the next few weeks as I discover beautiful new mystical shops to share with you.
This list was hard to pare down to only 10 - but I did it! Enjoy these 10 Enchanting Holiday Gifts From Indie Shops
Astro jewelry is really high on the “awesome gift” meter.
Sara McCormick, owner and creator of Bella de Luna Designs, will be overhauling her shop for the new year so snap these up in case they don’t make the cut!
Great gift for: Astro Babes
2 ) Ember Candle Co
I have been wanting to feature Ember Candle Co. on the blog for a few months now. They kept foiling my plans by putting their shop on vacay right before a post including them would go live.
Well they are OPEN and now I get to share these gorgeous soy skull candles with you!
They have an insane amount of scent and color options. Just don’t get overwhelmed picking one and miss out before the holiday rush!
Great gift for: Skull Lovers, Altar Scapers, Candle Aficionados, and Pastel Goths
3 ) April’s Fire
It’s hard to find high quality jewelry in the small business community. It’s an expensive undertaking to work at a small level but my great friend April has made it work for her.
Each of her pieces have a beautiful story surrounding their creation, and this broom-casted piece is no exception.
“The necklace is sterling silver that has been melted and poured into the bristles of a straw broom. A lovely witchy thing to do. I took the shapes, carefully soldered them together and sanded and polished to encase a clear quartz crystal point.”
I’m lucky enough to own one of her earlier pieces from the summer (made of drift wood and ocean glass) and it truly makes me float when I wear it.
Great gift for: Witchy Dreamers, Jewelry Devotees, and Crystal Queens
4 ) Hood Hippie
I’ve been following Hood Hippie on Instagram for several months without having any sort of clue what “Orogonite” really was. I just think they look beautiful, but after a bit of quick digging I read up on these magical creations and had to add them to the gift guide.
They are right in line with the esoteric community and would be a fab gift for the mystic who has everything.
Great gift for: New Age Babes, The Qi Obsessed, Mystics who have everything
5 ) Thread Honey
Thread Honey came across my dash while looking into maybe picking up needlepoint as an added hobby.
They have taken this ancient art to an entirely new level. Their impressive artistic renderings in thread and adorable quotes from one of the best netflix series’ to come out this year makes them the perfect place to hook up your giftees.
Great gift for: Fans of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Feminists, Needlepoint Fanatics, Art Lovers
6 ) The Art of Awen
The soy candles over at The Art of Awen are pure magic. I love the herbs, crystals, and glitter used to top off the package – it’s just good stuff!
Jamie, the artist behind The Art of Awen, also has a beautiful collection of paintings available – definitely look into them if you want to up the Qi of your space.
Great gift for: Fae Fans, Lovers of Peppermint and Vanilla, Altar Scapers, Candle Collectors
7 ) Brooklyn Global
I love a good garden Buddha – if you saw my garden you would see them everywhere. However, I am sadly lacking in the Buddha-Head-Planter area of the gardening world.
In all seriousness, I love all of the cement planters Lisa from Brooklyn Global has created. They are priced beautifully and are perfect for the succulent wave we are all enjoying.
Great gift for: Yogis, Buddhists, Succulent Collectors, Gardening Gurus
These might be the best thing I have seen in a long time. I can just picture all of the times these would have come in handy over the years. I’d keep a deck of these in my car to put on the windshields of crappy drivers, cheating boyfriends wallets, my college dorm’s communal fridge..
The uses for these are endless, really.
Great gift for: Karma Police, Spiritualists with a Sense of Humor, Introverts with a Passive Aggressive Streak
Moon Wise Herbals has some great bath and body options for anyone looking to keep their gift buying among the esoteric community.
I’ve heard great things about their lip balms – and have my eye on picking up an herbal facial steam as well.
Great gift for: Those in need of Self-Care/Self-Love, Bath and Body Lovers, Spa Day Dreamers
10 ) Orb of the Night
As a sensitive skin sufferer I was a little nervous about offering soap in my shop. I knew it would be a long trek to finding scents and recipes that wouldn’t react terribly with my skin. I have to say it was completely worth it!
This gift set includes three truly relaxing and easy-on-the-skin scents. Vanilla Sandalwood in Coconut Milk, Pumpkin Souffle in Coconut Milk, and (my personal fave) Honey Oatmeal in Oatmeal Soap.
Great gift for: Glitter Witches, Pumpkin Fiends, Sensitive Skin Sufferers, Decadent Soap Lovers
